Order and Delivery Terms

Ordering

Ab Velo-Moto Oy, business ID 3187594-2 sells products in its online shop to adult consumers, companies, and organizations in Finland (hereafter “Customer”).

Ordering takes place by adding a product to the shopping cart in the online shop and paying for the order with a chosen payment method at the checkout.

For the completion of the order, the customer must provide accurate information such as first name, last name, delivery address, phone number, and email address.

You can also order products via email if you wish. In that case, payment is usually done via pre-invoice.

Delivery Costs

You will see the final delivery costs at the checkout in the online store. We use the services of Posti and Matkahuolto for the transportation of accessories, parts, and equipment. Bicycles are always delivered by Netlux.

About Bicycle Delivery

A bicycle ordered from the online store is always assembled into a ride-ready condition and adjusted before it is packed and sent to the customer.

The bike is packed so that the recipient only needs to straighten the handlebar and set the saddle at the appropriate height.

All adjustments and settings are made to a bicycle ordered as in-store pickup according to the customer’s wishes.

Returns

The customer has the right, under the Consumer Protection Act, to cancel the order, or return all or part of the order within 14 days of receiving the order.

Any return or cancellation must first be notified by email to info@vmsport.fi. You will receive instructions for returning your order in a return message.

Returning the product is not free of charge. We will deduct the shipping costs from the refundable amount. The returned product must be in a saleable condition and in its original sales packaging.

Therefore, please do not tape the shoe box directly, for instance, but use protective plastic or a separate cardboard box over it. The customer is responsible for the care of returned products until they have been returned to us.

Please pack the returned products carefully. If the returned product has been used so that it can no longer be sold as new, we will deduct the depreciation portion from the refundable amount. This amount is always determined case by case.

A mere trial and handling does not cause devaluation.

Cancellation

If you want to cancel your order, notify cancellation by email within 14 days of the order to info@vmsport.fi. In the email, state the customer’s name, your order number, and mention that you want to cancel your order. We will refund the payments received from the order as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice. 

An unclaimed package is not the same as canceling the order. If your order is returned to us without cancellation notice, we will deduct the full delivery and return costs from the refundable amount, always at least €20.00.

Delays

The products sold in our online store are mostly in our warehouse, so delays are rare. If the product ordered is a so-called “delivery product” or pre-order product, which we do not yet have in our stock, we always provide a delivery time based on our best knowledge. If delays occur in such a product or order mentioned above, we will always contact the customer. If necessary, the order may be split and sent as products arrive in our warehouse.

Complaints

If the product is lost or damaged during delivery, please report it immediately (no later than 14 days) to info@vmsport.fi. If you see damages on the package you have received, make a complaint immediately upon receiving the package to the courier or pickup point and also inform us at the aforementioned email address.

If a defect appears in the product after use, report it to us promptly by email. Attach your description of the defect, a copy of the online order confirmation, and pictures of the damage if desired. We handle complaints to minimize inconvenience to the customer.
