Saddle poles and lift poles
Saddle pads and lift pads - adaptability and driving comfort on all terrains. The saddle post connects the saddle to the wheel frame and allows the saddle height to be adjusted. It directly affects riding position, comfort and pedalling efficiency. A dropper post is an adjustable saddle post that allows the saddle height to be adjusted while riding, improving bike control, especially on off-road terrain. Types of saddle post: Fixed saddle post: simple and lightweight, most common on road and urban bikes. Light and easy to use, most common and lightweight, most common in urban and urban areas. The height is adjusted manually. Flexible saddle post: incorporates shock absorption to soften bumps and improve ride comfort on bikes such as gravel and touring bikes. Dropper bar: Used especially on mountain bikes. Its height can be adjusted on the move with a lever or button, allowing a lower riding position on technical descents and a higher one on trail sections. Operating principle of the seat post: a hydraulic or mechanical system lowers and raises the saddle when the lever is pressed. This improves bike control on steep descents and prevents the saddle from being disturbed on technical terrain. Materials: aluminium: Lightweight, durable and affordable choice for most bikes. Carbon fibre: Very lightweight and vibration absorbing, but more sensitive to shocks. Steel: Durable and affordable, but a heavier option. Maintenance and Inspection: Saddle pins and lift pins should be cleaned regularly and checked for wear and tear. Lift pins require regular lubrication and mechanism maintenance to keep them running smoothly.
