Parts for electric bicycles
Parts for electric bikes - the essence of performance and electricity subsidy. The components of an electric bike differ from a conventional bike thanks to their additional components, which enable electric assistance and improve the riding experience. These components make electric bikes more efficient and adaptable to different riding styles and terrains. Key components of an e-bike: Motor: The motor can be located either in the centre (central motor) or in the front or rear hub (hub motor). Centre motors provide a balanced centre of gravity and better torque, while hub motors are simpler and lighter. Battery: The battery capacity (Wh) determines the operating range of the bike. The battery capacity of an e-bike is usually removable and placed in the frame or luggage rack. Control unit: Controls the motor's operation and power, allowing different levels of assistance. The controller is the ”brain” of the bike, connecting the motor, battery and sensors. Display and control panel: The display shows speed, battery charge, distance travelled and assistance level. The control panel allows you to adjust the level of assistance while driving. Sensors: Torsion and speed sensors measure pedal force and speed, adjusting the level of assistance to the rider's needs. Wiring and cables: connect all the components of the electric bike. Wiring is often integrated into the frame to protect it from weather conditions and mechanical damage. Maintenance and spare parts: the components of the electric bike require regular inspection and maintenance. The motor and battery are checked during annual maintenance, and software updates can improve performance. Wiring and connections should be checked to ensure power supply and prevent malfunctions.
