Hubs and parts
Hubs and components - the core of a wheel's rollability and durability. Hubs are the central part of a wheel's discs, enabling the discs to rotate and directly affecting the riding experience. They contain several important components such as bearings, axles and freewheels, all of which require regular maintenance and inspection. Bearings: sealed bearings provide freedom from maintenance and durability, while open bearings allow precise maintenance. The condition of the bearings has a direct impact on the rolling quality of the reel. Shafts: support the hub structure and connect it to the frame or fork. Through-shaft and quick-fit models are available to suit different wheel types. Free sprocket: Located in the rear hub, it allows the chain to rotate freely without pedalling. The mechanism of the freewheel determines the efficiency of the power transmission. Seals: Protect bearings and internal parts from dirt, water and dust, thus extending hub life. Maintenance and adjustment: regular maintenance, such as checking and lubricating bearings, straightening the shaft and cleaning the freewheel, keeps the hubs in good condition. Worn parts, such as bearings or seals, should be replaced in time. Properly maintained and quality hubs ensure a smooth ride, reduce friction and increase the durability of your bike.
