Disc brake adapters

Disc brake adapters allow you to fit disc brakes and calipers to brake discs of different sizes and with different frames and forks. They ensure that the brake caliper is aligned with the brake disc, providing optimum braking performance. IS (International Standard) adapters: convert IS mounting to Post Mount calipers. Post Mount Adapters: A common mounting type that allows the caliper to be mounted on larger discs, for example 160 mm to 180 mm or 203 mm. Flat Mount adapters: specifically designed for road and gravel bikes with Flat Mount mounting system. Purpose: Adapters are generally used when upgrading the size of brake discs or fitting a different brake caliper. Choosing the correct adapter depends on your bike's frame and fork mounting and the size of the brake disc. Adapters are usually made of durable aluminium for lightness and reliability. A properly selected disc brake adapter ensures efficient brake operation and safety.
